The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Hybrid & Electrified Propulsion System Integration Engineer:

Position is based in the Electrified Propulsion System Design team within JLR's Powertrain Department. The area includes a small team of integration engineers responsible for the delivery of the key elements of associated test rigs and prototype vehicles."

Skills Required:
3 Key Skills:
1) Design & delivery of prototype specific functionality to enable the Job#1 intent system to be tested against test & development plans.
2) "Associated toolset skills to include some or all of the following: - ETAS toolsets - VECTOR toolsets - Mathworks (Matlab) toolsets - CAPL Script - C++ code - Automation (Python, VB)"
3) Valid UK driving licence

Experience Required:
" - Educated to degree level in related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience - Prototype rig & vehicle design, delivery & maintenance (experience in use of vheicle diagnostics, including identification and resolution of faults) - Project management experience (project planning and control, customer leiaison, change control, risk / issue management, supplier interaction, RFQ development)"

Experience Preferred:
" - Design / delivery / interrogation of Flexray Networks - User of ETK/CCP/XCP communications (ETAS) - Network specification / generation (AUTOSAR / VOLCANO) - Controls modelling experience with Matlab / Simulink for real time applications - JLR systems & process experience (PCDS, TCDS, AIMS, PACN)"

Additional Information :
" - Role is primarily Gaydon based, but may require travel to other sites at Whitley, Solihull, Birmingham and Warwick University - Candidate to provide own safety shoes for any work in vehicle workshops. HV safety training will be provided as required"
