The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
To be responsible, in conjunction with the Wheels and Tyres Technical Specialist, for the standards, technical, and strategic development of the Puncture Management System components listed below:
Tools associated with Wheel Changing
Tyre Repair Kits
Spare Wheel Carriers
Spare Wheel Winch Systems

To be able to interrogate Mechanical Systems and establish Strategies for improvement.
Test and Design report creation.
A track record demonstrating Standard and Test Specification Creation. PC skills. including the ability manipulate and interrogate data via spread sheets.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Chassis experience with the technical knowledge to be able to own Puncture Management as a strategic concept.
Physical Testing Experience.
Test Procedure creation.
Engineering Standard creation.
Engineering component system ownership.
A good understanding of the product creation systems, design FMEA processes, and design verification.
A good understanding of change management processes and issue management.
Mechanical Engineering Honours Degree

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
CAE, both Multi Body System Dynamics and FEA experience would be preferable
Experience within PD environment. Involvement with AVA technology
