The Company:
Our client is a fully-fledged provider of EPC field development projects as well as engineering, technologies, solutions and services for the upstream oil and gas industry. Their range of offerings include deepwater drilling technologies, subsea oil and gas production systems, well services, mooring and offloading systems, wellstream processing technologies, as well as life-of-field solutions through its maintenance, modification and operations business.

The Role:
Responsibilities are carried out whereby normal line management reporting is to the Principal Engineer of Systems Analysis Discipline, but project reporting is directly to the Project Manager or Project Engineer.

•Respond to tasking requests and reporting progress to the Discipline Principal Engineer.
•Delivering in a timely manner analysis reports
•Familiarity and compliance with company procedures, project specifications and statutory regulations so that a standard approach to design is adopted whilst satisfying customer requirements for the analysis discipline
•Conducting tasks within agreed time scales and budgets and reporting status and deviations to the Discipline Principal Engineer.
•Support the Principal Analysis Engineer in the development and improvement of the Analysis discipline
•Mentoring of Analysis Engineers within the Systems Analysis Team and other engineers as engineers as required.
•Ensure documents are fit for purpose & meet all client requirements
•Participate in Technical Forums in the Analysis discipline
•Support project and tender teams on technical development issues and give technical advice in area of expertise.
•Engineering duties on Tendering, Study and Project work, including advising on system specification, documentation and report progress to the Discipline Principal Engineer
•Ensure system & components are fit for purpose & meet all statutory requirements
•Participate in system design at system design reviews & ensure that work package design achieves system requirements.
•Develop local working instructions as required for inclusion in PEM
•When required to provide support to sites within UK or internationally

In addition to the duties listed, the jobholder is required to perform other duties assigned by the supervisor/manager from time to time.
•Understand the standards and rules that apply and the behaviour that is expected.
•Be familiar with the company's HSE Operating System, HSE&Q Policies & Standards, Just Care, HSE Mindset, Just Culture and HSE Intranet.
•Work in accordance with Company’s HSE Core Value, HSE Mindset, Just Care, and Just Rules, and any other rules that apply.
•Adhere to Personal Responsibility for HSE requirements, local site house rules and prepare a personal HSE agreement with line supervisor, which is to be reviewed regularly.
•Take care of themselves and others who may be affected by their acts or omissions.
•Set leading/ role model examples on HSE issues within your areas of operation and influence.
•Report all accidents, incidents, near misses, dangerous situations and any shortcomings in the safety arrangements to your immediate supervisor and the HSE Department.
•Participate in HSE Safety Inspections as required.
•Co-operate with the company in complying with statutory requirements.
•Not to interfere with or misuse anything provided to meet a statutory requirement.
•Complete all online HSE training and awareness modules on the companies e-net.
•Follow the training given when using any equipment, substance or safety device provided by the company
•Actively promote the company's HSE core value, HSE Mindset and Just Care through personal commitment to HSE.
•Demonstrate HSE Leadership in line with company expectations.
•Set and accept clear HSE expectations, be accountable for your HSE performance in line with our rules of fair play and be proactive by intervening and interacting with your colleagues on all levels.
•Respond in an open and fair manner to incidents reported.
•Be proactive in addressing other people’s non-adherence to HSE requirements and good practices.
•Be willing to graciously receive, and appropriately action, any HSE non-conformances highlighted by others, no matter who they are.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree or equivelent in Engineering Discipline
Experience of working within Oil and Gas
HSE Qualifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH is desirable but not essential.
