The Company:
Our client is based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, they are currently building an integrated oil refining and petrochemical operation by way of upgrading their oil refinery and constructing a new petrochemical complex. This joint venture has been in place since August 2005 when the project was established. This is an opportunity to work for and with one of the worlds leading oil companies in one of their major downstream projects.

The Role:
- The company is a “Facility” engineering support provider for plant operation in relation to “nonoperation /process /licensing ” issues, i.e., Mechanical, instrument, DCS & SIS and electrical facilities issues from design & trouble shooting points .

- Providing a high level technical supports / advices (consulting like services or in charge party to obtain consulting / resolution services beyond internal capability) to chronic facility failure issues related to Mechanical, instrument and DCS& SIS, and electrical facilities .

Accountable for:
1. Major facility failure investigation (not caused by obvious operational failure, nor there is fire/leak)
2. Management of facility changes
3. Interlock (SIS) integrity management
4. Management of technology changes related to mechanical, instrument & control, electrical hardware design

We are looking for someone who possess the following skills/qualifications:

More than 15 years of direct experience in the piping design, mechanical equipment troubleshooting.
Technically strong in the areas of mechanical design, calculation & stress analysis.
Ability to develop, generate & review major project design packages and provide advises to the employer to ensure correct & accurate design has been implemented.
Will conversant with international code and STD related to design, calculation, etc.
Possesses a demonstrated experience in the Oil & Gas industry, particularly in Refining & petrochemical plants.
Ability to lead and work with multinational teams.
International certification in related subject is a plus.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant science major from reputable universities, Master is a plus.
In addition, a demonstrated specialty and expertise and records on related work field.
