The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Reporting to the Group Leader, SCS Functions & Systems, the Specialist Engineer is responsible for the delivery (from PA to FDJ) of Stability Control Systems (SCS) software for all Client Regenerative Braking Programmes. In this role the candidate will work closely with one of the preferred system suppliers, Chassis Electronics, SCS Applications, SCS Functions, and Vehicle Programme Teams. Key Responsibilities the Specialist Engineer will be accountable for design and delivery of these systems which need to meet class leading functional and attribute targets.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
3 KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
1. Substantial experience in designing and developing software supporting regenerative braking functionality
2. Substantial experience in Stability Control Systems applications and control systems engineering
3. Substantial experience in vehicle dynamics and simulation

Substantial experience in delivering vehicle stability and attribute tuning in either a motor sport or OEM environment Experience of simulating vehicle dynamics and control systems for saloon or race vehicle applications
Master’s Degree in automotive, electrical or mechanical engineering or control systems engineering
