The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
This is a Vehicle Integration Managers role.

It is leading and managing part of the team on the D7U Range Rover Platform of Vehicles. Vehicle Integration Manager Drives the team to develop the vehicles key attributes and its sign off tests to meet key project milestone deliverables. Leads the resolution of cross functional technical conflicts and engineering issues as an individual or through the Vehicle Engineering team to resolution. The role is varied from leading and driving the team in the build of its prototype vehicle fleet and their technical sign off through to delivering the technical position for a programme Gateway. All of this will be achieved against tight deadlines with high visibility in the business.

This manager must also build and develop the team skills and capability.

**This role can be on any of the West Midland client sites. Candidates also need to be over 25 and have preferably clean licences for client business insurance purposes of driving vehicles. Any applicant not with a points free licence needs to bring forward that issue as part of their application**

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The successful candidate is likely to come from a Management position or have had people and or senior programme management experience in their portfolio.
Key skills in this role is a high drive, a proven ability to meet deadlines and targets and drive and develop there team to do so as well.
The ideal Vehicle Integration Manager will be adaptable, a quick learner and capable of working with a wide range of others within the client business and motivating them and their team to achieve. Candidate should be a proven leader, organised, self motivated, confident, able to function and represent themselves and their team capably at all levels of the business In addition a thorough knowledge of whole vehicle engineering and integration process would be a significant advantage.
Sound ""first principles"" engineering knowledge.
Computer literacy.
Engineering Degree or equivalent. Would consider others for the correct personal skill set.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge of client PD processes, especially AIMs RMDV and Visual CAE Mock Up
Vehicle Integration experience, including attribute target setting and delivery, and/or virtual vehicle development.
Would consider candidates with a strong record of delivery in a people management role or programme management should they be able to prove a passion for vehicle development along side that skill set.
