The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Attribute Quality & Performance (AQ&P) combines a number of specialist departments with the goal of improving the overall vehicle attribute quality, performance and delivery through optimised project and process definition. This is a new role with responsibility for identifying issues from a wide range of current attribute data sources, analysing data to establish root cause and trends with statistical confidence, maintaining a live set of ongoing issues and working with current vehicle lines and attribute leaders to drive quality improvement into current production.

Skills Required:
Skilled practicioner in statistical modelling (DoE, ANOVA, multiple regression, hazard methods etc.) equivalent to Six Sigma Black Belt. Highly developed people skills with the ability to work through others to achieve business change. Clear and concise oral and written reporting style, able to communicate complex information in a clear graphical and numerical manner to all levels of the business. Highly developed project management skills with proven track record of delivery.

Skills Preferred:
AWS and PAWS training Excel Visual Basic skills Process and Value Stream Mapping

Experience Required:
Extensive experience in engineering involving consumer data analysis, project management and product quality leadership.

Experience Preferred:
Automotive Experience.

Education Required:
Educated to Degree Level in Engineering or a Mathematical/Statistical subject. Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent statistical / analytical education and experience.

Education Preferred:
Automotive Degree

Additional Information :
Need to be able to travel between Manufacturing locations: Solihull; Castle Bromwich; Halewood.
