The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The Vehicle NVH department are looking for an enthusiastic NVH Engineer with experience of vehicle body structures to support the development of Road, Wind and Powertrain attributes. Key responsibilities will include: 1. Providing an key interface role between Vehicle NVH and Body NVH teams 2. Support for body sealing strategies and activities within the NVH programmes teams 3. Support Plant Variability Team on site and understand plant related issues 4. Provide Squeak and Rattle support for rig testing and on manufacturing plant 5. Support for body technical investigation work, both structure borne and airborne 6. Provide technical and strategic support for the Airborne Acoustics team within the Vehicle NVH department 7. Support and maintain the Targets Document created by Vehicle NVH and issued to Body 8. Driving assessment of prototype and competitor vehicles. This is an exciting, wide reaching and varied role with an opportunity to directly influence the product design.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Requirements to fulfil the role: - Understanding of vehicle NVH principles, problem identification and resolution. - Self-motivated, with a desire to deliver a quality product with agility and flexibility - Good understanding of customer expectations for NVH performance - Demonstration of ability to solve NVH issues at a vehicle level and turn these findings into solutions - Good communication skills and the ability to influence other departments and management - Full clean driving licence
Minimum of 3 years NVH experience Demonstration of ability to resolve body related NVH problems such as body sealing, squeak and rattle, Noise Transfer Functions
Degree Level in an Engineering related discipline.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Ability to collect and analyse data with a variety of platforms an advantage - Prosig, LMS , Artemis. Detailed understanding of Body Structures that will deliver a good NVH experience
