The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Experience Required:
*Lead the S&R SST to deliver the S&R of the relevant vehicle line(s) performance to targets. -
* Lead and manage the multi functional team on Plant in all S&R activity. -
* Work with the Manufacturing Co Leader to ensure all issues are resolved. -
* Be the link to the Core S&R Team for information and support. - Monitor all internal S&R measures on plant. -
* Present the S&R status to the Plant Vehicle Team Manager at the weekly PIC reviews.. - Lead root cause investigation of issues.
* Support solution development with engineering and manufacturing. - Raise AIMS on S&R issues and track to resolution. - Attend plant audits and reviews as needed for S&R issues. - Support E4P testing as required. -
* Support the on site hydropulse and road test teams as required. - Investigate all FMS issues and update the data base. -
*Work with suppliers to drive implementation of fixes and S&R best practices. - Ensure all lessons learnt from the current vehicle are captured in the Core Team data base for future model prevention.

Experience Preferred:
Skills, experience and qualifications required: -
* Educated to degree level. - Good team player, able to lead a cross functional team of design, development, and manufacturing associates to identify and resolve S&R design and manufacturing issues. -
* Good background in general engineering methods and standards. - Experience of problem solving tools e.g. Six Sigma, etc. and quality engineering processes e.g. FMEA, Form 4 mapping, DOE, etc. -
* Good communication and presentation skills to all levels.
* The ability to achieve results in an efficient manner, making effective use of all resources available within the company and outside.
* Creativity and innovation; and an ability and willingness to cooperate in cross-functional teams.
* Good data analysis and PC skills. - Full UK driving licence. - Experienced driver able to pass a Level 3 driving course including manual and automatic transmissions, LH and RH drive vehicles. -
* Preferably Gaydon Proving Ground track pass holder. - *
* Able to pass company medical for climatic testing. - Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines in a manufacturing launch team environment.
* Able to manage multiple tasks. - Prepared to work evenings and weekends if required. - Flexibility to travel to other sites and suppliers as required. - Understanding of material compatibility an advantage

3) Must be hands on
