The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
For our client we are recruiting for a Spool Expeditor who will be responsible for the following:
• Conduct all work related activities in such a manner that the health and safety of all persons on the work site is his or her prime concern.
• Provide a reliable tracking and expediting service to the pipe spool fabrication process, throughout all the various fabrication stages, including the surface treatment process.
• Review and monitor the pipe spool and pipe support fabrication status reports, checking the content for completeness and accuracy throughout all the fabrication phases.
• Monitor and liaise with the client and contractor logistic teams to ensure efficient expediting of the pipe spools.
• Identify problems, initiate mitigating actions and act as focal point for problems affecting the pipe spool expediting process throughout all fabrication phases, including delivery and issue of project materials.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for this 9 month opportunity you will have a higher tertiary degree and proven industry experience.

Preferred skills include:
• Microsoft Excel and Word, Understanding of Document Management Systems and Material Management Systems.
• Demonstrates flexibility and is willing to work on an “all hands on deck” basis when required.
• Has a knowledge of Australian Standards compliance requirements and local industry practice.

Personal attributes include:
• Exercise a high degree of skill in communications with all levels of management, client and in interpersonal relationships in order to function as an effective member of a multi-discipline team.
