The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
An opportunity is available for a experienced Company Site Representative - Subsea Production Systems (SPS) Fabrication to provide guidance and support in the SPS offshore facilities team for our Construction yard in Lumut, Malaysia.

A large part of the role will be to ensure that all construction and testing activities undertaken in the SPS EPC Contractor’s Construction Yard for the client projects are conducted according to Company specifications and requirements. In addition, you will monitor all facets of construction activities, proposing mitigation actions when necessary.

The main responsibilities will include:

• A current working knowledge in areas of: fabrication, materials, welding, inspection, piping, testing and design of subsea structures.
• Overseeing all aspects of manifold fabrication, welding and testing activities and ensuring that industry best-practice principles are applied to the Project.
• Resolving fabrication, integration and testing interface issues and technical queries in conjunction with discipline engineers.
• Ensuring that fabrication obligations are documented and delivered within the SPS package.
• Preparation of relevant Project documentation.
• Reviewing contractor execution schedule to ensure compliance with the contract requirements and identifying necessary adjustments.
• Progressing schedule for all phases of fabrication and ensuring accurate updates are provided as per the Project calendar.
• Representing the SPS on-site with respect to construction activities.
• Assisting in identifying new Project risks and implementing agreed mitigation measures as required.
• Being the Company focal point for Contractors’ Fabrication teams on a day-to-day basis.
• Maintaining a high awareness of safe working practices and conducting all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the Company policies and procedures.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
For this position you will require the following skills and experience:

• A minimum of 15 years’ experience covering construction of subsea, topsides and jackets infrastructure within the oil and gas industry.
• Experience with welding, NDT and qualification activities of piping and structures.
• Previous experience working in a client team on EPC type contracts and working within relevant and internationally recognised design Codes and Standards.
