Well known Oil and Gas Operator with opportunity located in Cody, Wyoming

The Role:
This position will provide commercial and contract support services to our Wyoming Asset Team organization. Candidates must be dynamic self-starters who work collaboratively, are results oriented and driven by continuous improvement and learning

The objective of the role is to develop and execute commercial strategies and regional sourcing solutions associated with our Wyoming Asset Team’s spend for goods and services. This includes drilling, completions, operations, construction and maintenance activity. Additionally, this individual will identify and manage business partner and supplier relations, prepare proposals based on value generation, analyze and develop commercial business cases, negotiate with suppliers, administer contractual and commercial transactions in accordance with Global Supply Chain (GSC) policies and procedures.
Position to be based in Cody, WY and will report to the WY - Global Supply Chain Supervisor.

1.Works with internal business partners to assess all requirements and develop sourcing and contracting strategies for goods and services.
2.Negotiates the acquisition of goods and services, which satisfy internal business partner specifications, delivery requirements and performance and reliability expectations while optimizing the cost of materials and services within the asset.
3.Conducts tendering processes, oversees the preparation of the tender packages, prepares evaluation matrix and tender analysis, and lead the evaluation and process to award recommendation.
4.Negotiate and draft commercial documents which include contracts/agreements, job orders, scopes of work, amendments, change orders & purchase orders in accordance with Global Supply Chain and corporate policies and procedures with input from Global Supply Chain, Legal, Corporate Risk, Tax, and Audit as well as technical experts.
5.Maintains a record of contracts, supplier agreements and other documents related to the terms and conditions of commercial relationships, scope of materials and work, supplier / contractor performance measurements, and other records of supplier / contractor qualification and approval. Ensure preferred suppliers are aligned with the strategic objectives of the internal business partner and of our company.
6.Analyzes the efficiencies, effectiveness and performance of the asset’s goods and services requirements and develops meaningful performance metrics to facilitate bench marking and measurement of continuous improvement initiatives.
7.Maintains a working knowledge of legal requirements, governmental rules and regulations related to contractual documents, performance of contract work, quality assurance requirements and business relationships. Supports the Law department in the examination and litigation of legal matters related to commercial transactions.
8.Participates in the identification and evaluation of commercial and financial processes to assess their value and applicability within the asset.
9.Collaborates with the asset in the development of credible business cases once viable alternative strategies are developed. Leads the process to implement new commercial strategies within the asset.
10.Manages individual local and regional key supplier relationships to optimize the exchange of value with those companies and maximize value of the relationship for all parties. Works with and supports the Global Category Managers regarding key supplier initiatives.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree: Bachelor’s Degree Required

Major: Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance or Engineering preferred

Computer Proficiencies: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Work, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, SharePoint and sophisticated ERP systems; ideally SAP’s ECC, SRM and CLM.

Certifications: C.P.S.M., APICS preferred.

Skills and Experience:

•Ability to distinguish among various types of contracts and engage the procurement team, suppliers, and internal business partners or stakeholders for information to build the appropriate contracting strategies and contracts to meet the Company’s contracting needs.
•Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sourcing, negotiating, and contracting for complex services.
•3 years’ experience leading regional supplier performance management and relationship management progress
•Minimum of 3 years’ experience in redline management and contractual analysis
