The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
• Responsible for all Topsides planning activities in Houston for the development of offshore facilities (CPF) so that they meet the Company's requirements.
• To provide planning, control and monitoring service to the Offshore project facilities teams, covering all Topsides contractors’ and associated licensors’ and subcontractors’.
• Prepare clear and concise planning reports and documentation on a regular basis, this would include bar charts and networks, milestone and variance reports, man-hours loading, S-curves and productivity reports, which feed into overall Project reports.
• Attend progress and coordination meetings
• Provide an independent assessment of individual contractors’ progress.
• Maintain close coordination with Project Services groups in other locations and input as required.
• Assist the Operations team in development of a completions and systems handover and commissioning schedule.
• Develop and maintain Level 3 schedules of Offshore in Primavera P6 database, which integrates with overall Ichthys Project Master Schedule.
• To provide effective planning support and coordination of the Project team inclusive of contractors’, licensors’ and subcontractors.
• To ensure that planning activities have satisfactory incorporated the requirements of project and appropriate regulations
• Co-ordination of planning effort provided by contractors and supervise and assist their planning engineers in developing Level 3 schedules.
• Closely monitor all aspects of the schedule, appraise and advise the Offshore Lead Planning Engineer, Project Controls Mangers and Project Team of progress and trends; make recommendations for preventive or corrective action in the event of any deviations from the program.
• Liaise with the contractors’ and associated licensors’ and /or subcontractors’ planning engineers; with regards to the status of agreed deliverables.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in Engineering or related field, and minimum 15 years planning in the Oil & Gas Industry
• Proficient with Primavera P6 and Pertmaster Risk Analysis software.
• Microsoft Office products
• Broad understanding of facilities and Project Control issues without being a specialist.
• Highly developed cross-cultural influencing skills for work with subcontract staff of varied nationalities and backgrounds.
