Our client (big foreign company in oil&gas sphere) looking for Sr. Drilling Well Site Supervisor

We prefer candidates who speak Russian, but other candidates will be welcome. English fluent

Contract Duration: 6 months, with possibility to extend depending on the operations
Required experience: More than 10 years of experience, some of them in West Siberia with international companies. Experience in horizontal or extended reach wells

The Role:
The Sr.Drilling Supervisor is responsible for drilling and related operations as the
company's representative on the drilling rig, ensuring compliance with regulations and Company QHSE policies.

- Direct, supervise and optimize all rig operations.
- Manage and direct the activities of the Drilling Contractor and Drilling Service Contractors in the execution of the well program
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, management principles and standards
- Assist and ensure all documentation for drilling approval is at the well site prior to start drilling operations
- Coordinate the operational and technical programs between Clientl Operations and third party where applicable within assigned area of responsibility.
- Work with Drilling operations Superintendent to implement the drilling & completion programs whilst fostering teamwork between Company disciplines and departments and between Company and Service Providers
- Inspect the drilling and related services work of contractors for quality and adherence to scheduled deadlines and in accordance with the programmed drilling operations;
- Implement specific programs into the operational well program
- Implement drilling and completion programs based on recommendations from Well Engineering.
- Coordinate the operational and technical programs between Drilling Operations and third party where applicable within assigned area of responsibility
- Co-ordinate personnel, equipment and material requirements for rig operations
- Monitor, document and report all rig operations affecting the well.
- Ensure applicable load-out lists are complete prior to equipment being sent to location during operation
- Understand and implement contract operational and execution requirements
- Manage sub-contractors for all drilling and related services at the location.
- Ensure that procedures and processes are adhered to throughout the project cycle
- Assist to develop, manage and co-ordinate Concurrent Operations for rig activities.
- Ensuring that the contractor operates the rig in an economic and efficient manner and preparing related reports;
- Instruct and advise contractors on precautions to be taken during adverse weather conditions which may cause delays and precautions to be taken to protect well and other facilities from damage during rig moves
- Review and endorse drilling contractor’s and service contractors’ operationa records and reports
- Ensure effective and timely hand-over of key rig contractor and other services companies personnel.
- Ensure effective and timely field well cost reporting and control
- Develop and maintain close relations and good communications with the Drilling Superintendent, Senior Drilling Engineers, Operations Geologists, Petroleum Engineers, Logistics Superintendent and Tool Pusher of drilling contractor.
- Conduct rig site observation and inspections of drilling operations carried out by drilling contractor and all service contractors;
- Ensure rig planning maintenance, certification, record-keeping and reporting
- Control drilling and other related rig operations with secure and safe way in compliance with company’s safety manual.
- Assist in preparation of lesson learn and comprehensive end of well report generated for each well
- Responsible for well costs and equipment inventory at the rig site.
- Ensure effective and timely field well cost reporting and control

- Capture Lesson learns and assure that they are implemented in the upcoming wells to reduce the NPT and cost , and deliver a quality well
- Monitor equipment inventory and materials to have in stock the minimum required
- Prepare the end of well report generated for each well

- Manage, motivate and implement HSE management system, bridging document, at the rig site with all services companies including Drilling Contractor and Third Party Service Contractor;
- Ensure the effectiveness of the HSE program on the rig.
- Ensure that day-to-day operations meet the requirements of Client QHSE policies.
- Ensure drilling contractor's HSE management systems are implemented and are working effectively during all operations
- Ensure Client operations are executed in compliance with Business Code of Conduct, HSE and quality control, design, program, execute, monitor and improve well and rig activities.
- Monitor and report on drilling contractor and service contractor safety performance
- Participate in (as required) the accident and incident investigation and reporting systems at the well site
- Ensure that JSA's, safety induction and other HSE initiatives are conducted as required at the well site
- Demonstrate clear commitment to HSE objectives by participation in pre-job, pre-tour and the pre-organized HSE meetings at the well site
- Review the contractors Permit to Work, Planned Maintenance Systems and other HSE control systems from time to time to ensure their implementation
- Assist with planning, implementation and close-out of HSE Audits of Contractors and their equipment
- Participate in QHSE after action reviews for all drilling and completion operations
- Observe all company health, safety and environmental instructions, act in a safe manner and avoid unnecessary risks to themselves and others.
- Ensure implementation of immediately report any unsafe conditions or activities, dangerous occurrences or injuries in the workplace.
- Not interfere with, remove, displace or make ineffective any safeguard, safety device, equipment or appliance provided for HSE purposes.
- Assist new employees at the rig site in the use of relevant work procedures and practices in order to ensure their safety and the safety of all employees.
- Ensure that managing and implementation of HSE Management Systems for HSE critical rig activities is on site.
- Assure that all the personnel working at the rig site have the permission and certificates to work during drilling operations in west Siberia (HSE, Compliance, technical and corporate competency)
- Ensure HSE Emergency Response Systems (MEDEVAC, BOCP, etc) is documented, tested with simulation exercises and the Drilling Team is capable of responding to HSE emergencies
- Ensure implementation of immediately report any unsafe conditions or activities, dangerous occurrences or injuries in the workplace
- Assist new employees in the use of relevant work procedures and practices in order to ensure their safety and the safety of all employees

Communicate daily:
- Review and communicate a five day forecast to facilitate equipment and contractor key personnel movements
- Keep close communication with Drilling Superintendent to ensure that all planning, prespud and operations procedures are followed.
- Prepare and send the DDR to the city and updated forecast

Positions in Company that this position most frequently interacts with:
Logistic, HES, Drilling Team Operator, G&G at the well site.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
More than 10 years drilling and completions experience on land rigs at West Siberia
TYPE OF EXPERIENCE: Onshore, Oil and Gas Wells, Drilling Operations, Well Control. Work experience in West Siberia and Nordic conditions.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Good technical and operational understanding of drilling and/or completions
- Competency to plan, problem solve, organize, direct, and control
- Onshore certificates are mandatory : IWCF SUPERVISOR LEVEL or IADC Well Control, Valid Medical Certification, and other documents required by Russian law;
- Leadership skills in a diverse geographic and cultural environment
- Effective time management and strong organizational skills - must be able to balance competing priorities, complex situations and deadlines
- Rig-site acumen and supervisory skills
- Competency in utilization of computers and application of Microsoft office
- Proven understanding and application of continuous improvement processes
- Experience with Open Wells
