The Company:
Our Client is a National Refining and Petrochemicals company operating in Oman. Due to recent expansion, they are currently looking to recruit a Senior Engineer - Turnaround planning services reporting to the Team leader.

The Role:
Develop and review Scope of Works, prepare & evaluate tender bid and prepare recommendations reports.
Establishes best maintenance practices & systems to optimize resources and enhance turnaround / shutdown scheduled maintenance.
Conduct meeting, prepares summary reports and provide daily update on the execution of the scheduled turnaround /shutdown maintenance.
Ensuring equipment manufacturer’s standards, procedures and safety regulation are followed by staff and contractors.
Proactively resolves issues during all phases of the schedule turnaround (including scope development & start up to completion of turnaround activities).
Develops work breakdown structures, and recommends appropriate modifications and revisions for new work items assigned.
Archives baseline and final schedules ensuring best practice for improvement is applied to turnaround schedule activities.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications for this position is a University degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
A minimum year of relevant experience is 4 years as a Senior Engineer in a similar role in turnaround maintenance planning (Oil & Gas / Petrochemical or Refinery Plant experience preferred).
Knowledge of :
• Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• Expertise in SAP- PM Module.
• Primavera / MS Project
Experience in handling of maintenance contracts and procurement.
Experience in planning, scheduling of routine maintenance & shutdown related jobs.
Familiar with material and international engineering applicable codes
