The Role:
The primary responsibilities of this position will be to provide technical support to a multi-discipline team across Drilling, Completions and E&P Service organizations.

Provides technical and analytical support to clients (Drilling & Completions engineering, operations, services, etc.). Under minimal supervision, responsible for loading, verifying, manipulating, analyzing, reporting and presenting data. Rsponsibilities are entirely weighted towards analytical support.

Perform selection, analysis and interpretation of complex data sets, while developing high level documents and technical reports regarding procedures, solutions and result. Required to identify problems and recommend solutions and additional data analysis as required. Expected to fully understand project scope, while regularly makes recommendations related to design improvements and technology. Must have demonstrated and/or presented recommendations and data findings. Must possess expert knowledge of PC systems, spreadsheets, and/or database application software and are able to troubleshoot issues related to systems applications.


•Organize, manipulate and present complex data sets related to Drilling and Completions operations
•Analyzing wells statuses/statistics and or completion/production volume levels and present findings
•Analyze and interpret complex drilling and/or completion data
•Prepare and submit proposals on well drilling, workovers, completions, etc.
•Research and respond to invoicing errors, broker billings, partner inquires and royalty/surface owner problems as required.
•Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reporting to regulatory agencies
•Prepare and distribute daily drilling, completion, and other reports, including entering them into well file systems
•Conduct calculations and prepare paperwork for drilling rig bonus payments
•Develop data entry procedures for field staff to ensure data consistency.
•Check daily operations reports and cost codes for accuracy
•Prepare wellbore schematics
•Assist with AFE preparation and tracking
•Build, compile and manipulate data as needed with various software, especially Microsoft Excel and Access
•Assist with presentation materials
•Work with specialized and new systems as required
•Train less experienced staff as needed
•Technical support for others in the team as needed

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree (Engineering preferred)
•Minimum three years industry experience in a petro-technical environment
•Proficient (performs the skill with limited or no assistance) in use of:
- Well File & Drilling software: Wellview, Compass, Stresscheck, and Wellplan
