The Role:
Job Title: Senior MM Equipment Manufacturing Engineer
Division/Department: ETS – Material Management Department
Reports To: Equipment Manufacturing Manager
Location: Seoul Office

Job Purpose:
To oversee the required initiatives to ensure Procurement / logistics Oversight in order to ensure accuracy of supply, adherence to contractual obligations and maintenance of standards in relation to Company`s site material.

Activity: Manufacturing - Korea
Responsibility:
• Procurement Oversight
• Oversee major equipment and material supply at manufacturers facilities to ensure accuracy of supply
• Verify and ensure KEPCO has included Korean KEPIC / IEEE codes and standards in purchase contracts with its sub suppliers as per NQA -1 -1994 requirement to maintain benchmark standards
• Observe the key manufacturing sequences, inspections, tests and other operations identified in the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and surveillance of their implementation to ensure any irregularities are resolved
• Expedite KEPCO’s procurement activities where schedule slippage has occurred to minimize any associated downtimes
• Participate with major NCR / CAR resolution in order to expedite closures
• Expedite closures of Conditional Releases and OS&D’s in order to facilitate ongoing activities
• Verify NPCMS procurement / engineering data is current and correct in order to expedite completeness and accuracy
• Responsible for execution and safety oversight of the Prime Contractors Transportation and Heavy Lifts program
• Interfaces with the Contractor and Contractors Freight Forwarder
• Performs schedule reviews and analyzes manufacturing schedules and NPCMS dates
• Participates in Production meetings with the contractor and critical equipment suppliers as required
• Expedites KEPCO’s procurement activities where schedule slippage has occurred
• Participates in QA audits as directed
• Ensure QA Program and Procedures are being followed to maintain quality standards

Activity: Documentations and Related Reports
Responsibility:
• Ensure all Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) are well documented by suppliers to avoid delays in shipping and customs clearance formalities in UAE
• Review Engineering BOM’s in order to ensure all the data is included purchase contracts and aligned with the NPCMS
• Verify timely materials deliveries and status reports in order to ensure uninterrupted work and avoid associated downtimes
• Oversight of all BNPP Heavy lift equipment logistical movements
• Documenting all oversight activities
• Provide independent report analysis to facilitate informed decision making

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of Nuclear Power plant work experience
7- 10 years relevant experience in material management / procurement / contracts / transportation in a senior Management position on EPC of nuclear power plant with greater than 10 billion dollars capital cost.
Previous work experience with major EPC Nuclear international companies is desirable.
Extensive knowledge in the use and application of electronic material management systems
Engineered procurement experience to ASME 3 / 8 / 9
Reporting skills
Ability to write management procedures
