The Company:
Our major Oil & Gas Client is in need of a Sr. Quality Application Administrator in Houston, Texas.

The Role:
Sr Quality Application Administrator

Job Responsibilities: Administrative support for Oil & Gas engineering quality inspection report management system (QIRMS) application.
• Understand Global business requirements in terms of their workflow and reporting needs regionally
o Business Areas Supported
 Global application – Interfacing with Regional project structures, processes, and teams
 Quality Management Systems supporting new project development
 Engineering, procurement, and fabrication
o Workflows
 Non-conformance reporting and dispositioning
 Engineering approvals
 Action Item management
 Observation logs and resulting actions

• Identify and implement company business requirements that are supported by the software
• Setup new project organizations and profiles
• Report design, development, visualization and publishing that allow for compelling report generation both by power and entry users alike including use of executive dashboards, business activity queries, KPIs, and workflows.
• Develop reports integrated to the system using MS Access, MS Excel, SQL Queries, XML, XSLT , HTML and 3rd party tools like Crystal Reports or Business Objects
• Add, update and maintain master data lists for application: Project/Organization, Suppliers, Sites, Project Master Equipment Lists (MEL) …
• Change/update content of user interface form, hover help and update all language translations
• Support end-users in multiple locations including new employee set up and orientation, troubleshooting of day-to-day issues and etraining
• Work closely with IT Application Support and Vendor to optimize system availability, response time, upgrades, patches and troubleshooting
• Improve documentation of support policies and procedures
• Perform quality assurance testing of new software releases
• Provided technical support training to other team members
• Administering user security and authority.
o Refine roles, responsibilities and project visibilities
o Setup new user profiles, assign roles, project visibility, assign temporary passwords, etc.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Required Knowledge, Experience:
• Good understanding of the engineering/fabrication/manufacturing business process including project engineering, inspection reporting and functionalities supported by an ERP system
• In-depth knowledge of Database, Web technologies and Software Development Life Cycle.
• 5+ year(s) maintaining the documents and creating reports for the business analysts and end-users.
• 5+ year(s) XML/.NET/SQL development experience
• 5+ year(s) working in a relational database environment(MS SQL Server and/or Oracle), Web Services, SSIS, BizTalk interface development experience a plus
• 5+ year(s) designing the advance SQL queries, procedure, cursor, triggers, scripts.
• 3+ year(s) of experience in a similar position in a multinational organization supporting an ERP system
• 3+ year(s) solid experience developing reports integrated to the system using MS Access, MS Excel, SQL Queries, XML, XSLT , HTML and 3rd party tools like Crystal Reports or Business Ob
