The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
Reporting to the Subsea & Pipelines Construction Manager, this individual has particular responsibility for the coordination and assurance of all marine vessel activities associated with the construction, load out, transport, installation and testing of the projects upstream subsea equipment and pipelines.
The project team will engage a large number of marine vessels to execute the offshore project scopes - estimated to be in excess of approx 50 vessels over the life of the project.


• Coordinate pre-mobilisation, in-service and de-mobilisation requirements for audits and inspections required by International & Commonwealth marine legislation and the company contracting and OE Process.
• The role will include the development & determination of the full Scope of Work with the assistance and agreement with the Package Leads.
• Coordination of Marine Warranty requirements for all execution and transportation activities.
• Work with the project package teams to ensure that all warranty inspections and subsequent actions are managed and closed in a timely manner & communicated to all applicable parties as required.
• Manage the projects upstream OVID register, working closely with the Corporate Office Marine OE Process team. Coordination of AQUIS and Dept of Fisheries requirements.
• Coordination of provision of documentation to regulatory and port authorities and liaison with authorities.
• Coordination of marine interfaces with other project teams and third parties.
• Coordination of SIMOPs activities between the projects upstream and other business partners.
• Assist with overall SIMOPs management process.
• Identify and report current and future SIMOPs clashes.
• Coordinate and manage the pre-contracting, pre-mobilisation, in-service and de-mobilisation requirements regarding contracting and OE Process principally CHESM & MSRE.
• Coordination of aviation requirements with ABU Logistics group and construction contractors Commit to and champion the further development and implementation of a safe working environment for everyone on the project and the continuing establishment of an incident and injury free culture. Includes development and implementation of IIF deployment to Third Party Audit / Inspection / Warranty Contractor(s) and Marine Vessels visited.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree and / or recognised marine industry qualification
• 10 Years minimum in marine operations including management / coordination / logistics of oil and gas industry support vessels and marine auditing processes
• In depth knowledge of marine transportation and construction regulations, procedures and processes.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills, ability to achieve milestones. Ability to work independently to meet project deadlines and ensure safe operations.
• Visible demonstration of commitment to development and maintenance of a comprehensive HSE culture
• Formal marine industry training preferred
