The Company:
Our client, a major owner/operating company, requires expertise for their ongoing oil sands mega-projects in Alberta.

This position is open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents only.

The Role:
The SSHE Analyst is responsible for generating weekly/monthly reports for projects, conducting analysis, and providing ad-hoc SSHE reports upon requests

Collect, review and verify client SSHE data and use it to generate regular and ad-hoc reports for projects and function:
• Review and verify the weekly report that SSHE Performance Analyst generates
• Update SSHE statistics and reports weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly or as required by reporting schedule
• Develop SSHE Weekly Report, review it with Safety Manager and SSHE and Regulatory Manager, and distribute it
• Develop weekly SSHE reports for various projects
• Conduct quality assurance checks for data entry into system
• Prepare ad hoc safety analysis reports, help with developing SSHE presentations
• Provide SSHE analysis to support various safety steering / management team meetings
• Coordinate data gathering associated with development of quarterly VP safety report
Act as a backup for Incident Management Coordinator upon request

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Advanced MS Excel 2010
• Advanced MS Power Point 2010
• Web-based database management experience
• Preferred 2 years of experience as a Reporting Safety Analyst/Technician, preferably in Oil & Gas industry
• Accuracy and attention to details
