The Company:
A major international operator.

The Role:
Our global leading client is planning to commence the next phase of a Poland seismic later this year, beginning approx. Nov and lasting for approx. 5 months.
This position will consist of 4 week rotations for the 5 month duration.

The Safety, Security, Health & Environment QC (SSH&E) is the Company’s representative that monitors and advises on SSH&E matters associated with the Project.
He/She is responsible for verifying that the survey contractors and subcontractors comply with the Project SSH&E Plan, contract requirements, SSH&E laws and regulations, and industry standards.
This individual will maintain proper records and documentation, and communicate findings to the Company.

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and assess Contractor SSH&E procedures and processes
Ensure adherence to the contract SSH&E requirements and Project SSH&E Plan
Communicate deviations to Company and Contractor designated personnel
Recommend SSH&E improvements or corrective actions
Ensure that the Project SSH&E Plan is updated to accurately reflect field procedures
Represent Company in Project related SSH&E matters
Participate in incident investigations as required
Monitor SSH&E performance data
Compile SSH&E data and statistics for daily, weekly and monthly reports
Assist in the development of the Project SSH&E Plan when possible
Work with Technical and other QCs as a team
Maintain awareness of other QCs' areas of responsibility
Conduct SSH&E audits of equipment and crew to assess compliance with regulatory, industry standards, and company requirements.

At the end of the survey, the SSH&E QC representative is to submit three hard copies and three CDROM digital copies (to include all photographs) of the Final Audit & SSH&E Operations Report.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Extensive onshore seismic experience and onshore industry SSH&E QC experience.
Geophysical field experience who has demonstrated knowledge, understanding and application of SSH&E management systems, SSH&E auditing and incident investigation.
Demonstrated knowledge, understanding and application of Safety, Health, and Environmental (SSH&E) standards.
Knowledge of Company reporting requirements, and an awareness of Company Operation Integrity Management System (OIMS) procedures is preferred.
Demonstrated skills in effective communications, interface management, auditing and assessing operations, and problem solving.

Candidates MUST be eligible to work in the EU.
