The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The STA resident engineering function is responsible for the representation of STA within the JLR manufacturing plants for escalated current car supplier manufacturing quality issues and supplier owned warranty concerns. The key function is to quickly understand and define escalated issues and drive resolution through AIMS or (PAWs for warranty) and working closely with the Supplier and STA Site organisation. Also responsible for working proactively on chosen supplier manufacturing sites to improve supplier performance as defined.

Education Required:
Ideally qualified to degree level (or equivalent) within an engineering or business discipline
Education Preferred:

Additional Information :

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Excellent leadership/negotiation/communication & interpersonal skills are required to work closely with the vehicle manufacturing location at multiple levels. Knowledge and experience of APQP/PPAP/8D.]
Computer literate.
Full UK driving license.
Self-motivated & able to work on their own initiative
Experienced within a Vehicle Engineering/Quality function and familiar with the Global Product Development System

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge of the PAWS warranty system (not essential as training can be provided).
