The Company:
A Major Operator For Downstream Refining

The Role:
1) Technical leadership in the area of expertise
• Accountable and responsible for technical leadership at OPU level
• Implement value creation opportunities
• Application of Base and Key technologies in improvement initiatives
• Implements best practices and captures lesson learnt
• Develop strategies /roadmap to address technical requirements and evaluate value creation opportunities
• Leads and monitor implementation of improvement initiatives
• Undertakes risk mitigations throughout the improvement initiatives

2) Provision of consultancy services and technical solutions
• Responsible and accountable for technical guidance and advice at OPU level
• Responsible and accountable for operational technical advice/solutions by implementing Base and Key technologies

3) Develop technical capability in the organisation
• Participates in development/review of TI&R, SI&R, competency descriptors, SDM,TRM and ICP
• Participates in contents development/ enhancement of existing training modules
• Conducts technical competency assessment for TTS, E1 and E2
• Conducts training and coaching

4) Acquisition of technology or best practices and contribution to organisation and profession
• Participates in CoP and leads IWG
• Introduces/ adopts best practices
• Network with external parties/professional bodies (e.g. SPE, IChemE, academia) for technical knowledge enhancement
• Shares knowledge in resolution of technical issues/queries and lessons learnt
