The Company:
Our client is a Multinational Chemical company responsible for the Construction, Ownership and Operation of it's own Plants.

The Role:
Handle all engineering specification and standards activities and provide coordination and support for necessary engineering designs in coordination with manufacturing and engineering Technical Support.

1. Coordinate with Standards & Document Management Supervisor to determine the necessary engineering designs and standards activities needed, and establish an implementation schedule.
2. Estimate production costs, cost saving methods, and the effects of product design changes on expenditures for management review, action, and control.
3. Perform review and manage the engineering standards in coordination with other departments and Engineering Technical Support.
4. Perform QA/QC on Engineering Standards in needed basis.
5. Ensure that engineering designs and drawings are efficiently recorded and archived for future reference.
6. Confer with clients, vendors, staff, and management personnel regarding purchases, product and production specifications or manufacturing capabilities.
7. Mentor and educate other people when necessary to provide consultation support to company projects.
8. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the immediate supervisor/manager.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Mechanical degree in an Engineering discipline or any relevant field.
• Certification in Computer Aided Design.
• Familiar with International Engineering Standards is required
• 5 years of relevant experience.
