The Role:
Working an in a high H2S environment, duties will include the following:

•Support Operations, CCSUS, and IAP team to develop quantitative progress measurement tools for key dynamic commissioning and start up activities; ensure consistency between onshore and offshore approach
•Update start up documentation (i.e. SU Logic, strategy, ISUM’s) incorporating the lessons learned from 2013 Dynamic Commissioning and Start Up Campaign and provide rollout and training to various
•Provide periodic awareness / education sessions on start-up logic, sequence, and scenarios to Ops Tech and Maintenance Engineering Personnel involved in supporting CSU activities.
•Develop with Process Engineering and CCSUS Technical Support Leads what if scenarios and associated mitigation plans for key equipment / systems failures during initial start-up and ramp up phase
•Facilitate start up on paper exercises and administrate follow-up actions
•Develop and maintain a comprehensive Trainings & Assessment Matrix to demonstrate start-up competency requirements required for assurance framework stakeholders when major changes made
Development of Kazakhstani national staff
•Mentor offshore operations National staff.
•Support Staff Competency Assurance, Training & Development Plans.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Higher degree / diploma qualification in technical discipline
Plant operations experience in Offshore HPHT Oil, Gas, Wells Industry to have included:
-Knowledge and experience of Production Operations in particular HPHT well operations production, TEG units, oil /gas separation, flash gas compressors
-Knowledge and experience in operation of plant machinery and associated systems;
-SIMOPS management;
-Knowledge of process related principles, P&ID’s, Operating Integrity and Process Safety;
-Knowledge of preventive/predictive, corrective and diagnostic techniques with PI Process book
-Experience in coaching, mentoring and assessing national workforce;
-Supervision of vendors.
