The Company:
Major International Oil and Gas company.

The Role:
Primary Roles and responsibilities include:
1. Providing leadership and project Non-Process Quality Control (NPQC) support for static equipment (including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping, valves, tanks, etc.) as part of large scale capital projects for refineries and chemical plants
2. Stewards all aspects of capital project static equipment engineering including equipment specification, vendor selection and coordination, quality control, testing, installation, commissioning, and startup
3. Responsible to ensure that Global Practices, Design Practices, and the Project's requirements, as detailed in the Technical Specifications, are complied with fully and that equipment is delivered and fully operational in accordance with the project performance requirements and schedule

Potential other Roles/Responsibilities that may be required:
1. Providing assistance to the Project team and work with project managers to provide support on reliability reviews, safety system reviews, constructability reviews, equipment strategy development and TA maintenance reviews
2. Provide support to manufacturing sites for smaller projects or for maintenance / technical consulting

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Education:
BS in Mechanical Engineering with at least 10 years of static equipment engineering experience in the Oil & Gas or EPC industry
Summary Skill Requirements:
• Thorough and extensive knowledge of:
 Pressure vessel, piping, and tankage design and construction (maintenance experience is a plus)
 Applicable codes, standards, and trade practices including ASME BPV Sect VIII, Div 1 & 2, ASME B31.3
 Global Practices/Design Practices
• Facilities planning of large or complex refining and chemical plant projects
• Effective engagement with multifunctional teams

Key technical experiences/ skills:
• Able to execute complex assignments
• NPQC engineer on major project or similar role
• Lead Static Equipment Engineer on Major Project
• Static Equipment Engineer on a major project

Prior experiences/ skills:
• Various plant startups – Static Equipment Engineer
• Pressure Vessel / Piping Design engineering
• Static Equipment Plant support as contact engine
