The Role:
The Static Umbilical Project Engineer works in a delivery line of the project. The Project Engineer is responsible for static umbilical installation and testing. The Project Engineer supervises Installation contractor execution of installation engineering design, transportation, testing, and provide technical support on-board installation vessels. The Project Engineer owns HSSE performance and ensuring highest standards in all behavioural and HSSE compliance matters. The Project Engineer reports to the flowline and drill centre project manager and is expected to deliver the static umbilical work scope safely with high quality within project budget and schedule.

People & Leadership
1. Monitor and supervise day-to-day contractor activities and identify and implement corrective action as appropriate.
2. Manage the interfaces between key stakeholders, including engineering contractors, contractors, and suppliers.
3. Adheres to Company Management Framework leadership standards, including codes of ethical conduct.

4. Demonstrate clear HSSE leadership to team members, vendors and contractors promoting Company HSSE objectives and ensuring application of company standards.
5. Support management of static umbilical related risk and hazard management during the offshore installation and testing and support resolution and closure.
6. Ensure that the proper HSSE processes are adhered at all times.
7. Ensure the Contractor’s Project team fully understands the standard of HSSE performance expected by Company.

8. Monitor and supervise the preparation, review and approval of installation engineering, and construction deliverables to ensure comments from key stakeholders are incorporated appropriately.
9. Monitor delivery of related CPI to ensure schedule issues are properly resolved.
10. Support Design Engineering activities to ensure site constructability issues are proactively addressed and incorporated into the design and execution strategy.
11. Ensure Contractors adheres to quality assurance/quality control and Inspection and Test Plans during all phases of the project.
12. Support lessons learned programme throughout the project phases
13. Manage interfaces of static umbilical scope between installation contractor and offshore programme and/or other Company contractors.
14. Provide regular performance reporting of static umbilical scope; highlight areas requiring attention to achieve project objectives.

15. Follow project execution plan to assure delivery of static umbilical scope on schedule and within budget.
16. Verify and confirm Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)/ Performance Plan/ Goals and Objectives are met
17. Implement the project quality assurance plan for all static umbilical work scope.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree qualified Subsea Project Engineer preferably with WoS (West Of Shetland) experience
