The Company:
Our client are a new independent oil operator in the North Sea with a dynamic management team who have exciting growth plans to develop their operations further in the UKCS.

The Role:
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 Maintain accurate stock records for all stock inventory (location, quantity and certification) to ensure stock is available for service when required
 Optimise the levels of stock inventory
 Liaise with onshore drilling and operations engineers to identify requirements for stock material and equipment including long lead stock and critical and insurance spares
 Raise stock records, request for materials, receipt, call off, issue, transfer and control of stock for tangible stock inventory items
 Ensure requisitions for stock materials are raised in time for delivery
 Ensure completion of end of well stock reconciliation reports and monthly inventory reports
 Monitoring third party stock movement to ensure compliance with contract & inventory process & procedures
 Ensure the ERP system is kept up to date with respect to all stock movements
 Performing physical stock audits on a regular planned basis at all stock locations including offshore as & when required
 Ensure disposal documentation is raised for all surplus/redundant materials
 Producing financial end of month/well stock reports to relevant cost engineer
 Organise in a timely manner redelivery / restocking of stock (including consignment) equipment and materials for vendor credit
 Monitoring all stock movements both offshore and onshore to ensure stock management processes are adhered to in order to obtain full compliance
 Development of robust, basic stock inventory management processes & procedures
 Ensure full compliance with Custom & Excise requirements for all stock movements and disposals
 Ensure the required company safety, QA and training standards are followed
 Comply with Inventory Management processes and identify opportunities for improvement

Provide input to:

 Objective setting of Inventory Team
 Definition of stock holding policies
 Identification of inventory projects
 Management of interfaces with stock owners and external parties
 Tracking of drilling material costs

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Interpersonal

 Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills
 Ability to articulate in a clear and concise manner.
 High level of influencing skills
 Presents self in a professional manner appropriate to the role and company standards
 Produces work of accurate and presentable quality in the appropriate formats
 Good organisational skills, SMART working methods and can demonstrate personal effectiveness in previous roles

 Strong analytical capability.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
 Can demonstrate significant experience in efficient in multi discipline inventory systems.
 An excellent understanding of industry best practice, inventory control solutions for either O & G or other industry.
 A good appreciation of cost allocation, planning and budgeting.
 Ideally service and client side experience.
 Commitment to continuous improvement and comfortable performing in an evolving work environment.
