The Company:
The primary objective of our client in Aberdeen is to provide their Europe & W. Africa customers with a local presence for quality spares, technical service, and training to the highest of standards. The position of the Driver / Stores person for SRLTD will assist in the day to day running of the materials and logistics department and reports to the Materials Supervisor.

The Role:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. • Shipping and receipt of all SR product lines including locally and internationally
• Perform daily cycle counts
• Maintain stock accuracy when picking and placing stock in bin locations
• Ensures that the parts stores and warehousing areas are kept clean, tidy and safe.
• Priorities local deliveries in a logical manner to make best use of own transport
• Provides support to sales, purchasing and service departments
• Transports urgent repairs to customer locations as required
• Transports components to local outside vendors as required
• Carry out general stores duties as directed by the Materials Supervisor.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements
• Ability to read and understand parts picking lists and commercial invoice documentation
• Basic level computer skills including MS Word, Excel
• Satisfactory verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize work effectively
• Ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to shifting priorities and competing demands whilst remaining detail orientated

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications
• Industrial counterbalance forklift license
• Full UK Driving License
• English, Math’s, Arithmetic
