The Company:
Our client is a leading supplier of professional scientific and engineering consultancy services mainly to the United Kingdom nuclear industry

The Role:
• A member of the Engineering Design Team delivering structural designs to agreed time, cost and quality requirements for the project
• To deliver work packages and design solutions that fully comply with SQESH, all applicable current and foreseeable forthcoming Legislation, British Standards and client standards
• Ensure adequate monitoring of engineering configuration changes within the appointed discipline
• Ensure compliance, in all activities undertaken, with Company SQESH requirements
• Ensure design solutions fulfil all the specified requirements.
• Ensure integrated safety when producing engineering designs.
• Ensure maintenance of appointed discipline standards.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Minimum of a Degree in a Structural Engineering discipline or a Chartered Engineer
• Preferred full membership of an appropriate Institute.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Fit and able to work within a regulated environment
• Full driving licence
• Security Clearance – SC Level and eligible to work in the UK Nuclear Industry
