The Company:
Our client, a major international oil and gas operator, seeks Structural Engineer to join their team!

The Role:
Under technical direction of the Lead Civil/Structural Engineer, the Houston based Civil/Structural Engineer will work with the EPCm contractor to deliver the civil/structural scope of work for this major project area.
The position will report to the Houston Area Project Engineer, but will take technical direction from the Lead Civil/Structural Engineer.
This position will require skills and experience in civil/structural design utilizing philosophies and specifications developed for the Project.
Ensure that the Civil/Structural design is safe, operable, maintainable, cost-effective, constructible, robust and meets the project design basis.
Ensure the design and implementation accommodates modularization requirements and is in-line with Project standards for configuration, operation and maintainability.
Coordinate SME input when required.
Ensure key deliverables reviews, comments and approvals are submitted timely in order to avoid engineering schedule delays.
Develop strong collaboration and communication with EPC counterparts and other Project functional Teams in Houston, and other Engineering and fabrication sites.
Exhibit leadership of Client behaviors and implement Client principles.
