The Company:
Our client has been engaged in the exploration and production of natural gas in the Netherlands and the North Sea Continental Shelf since 1964. In the Dutch sector of the North Sea, gas is produced from 22 platforms and 3 subsea production installations. Most of the platforms are unmanned and remotely operated; four have gas treatment facilities.

The Role:
- Reports to the Section Head Engineering
- Provides Structural engineering expertise for TEPNL production facilities
- Ensure and maintains data’s knowledge of the overall offshore structure (3 offshore treating centers, 17 satellite platforms offshore)
- Custodian of Installation structural certification dossier
- Contribute to the execution of 50 MSR’s (Modification & Study Request) per year with a total value of 2M€ - 6M€/year.
- Responsible for the structural engineering of all modifications (MSRs carried out on the existing TEPNL facilities
- Prepare/ Review specification related to any structure modification and re-certification
- Define optimum solution and design, prepare and monitor pre-studies
- Ensures application of Clients GS General Specifications & rules, and applicable local legislation
- Ensures HSE compliance by design, evaluate impact of modifications, attend/conduct design reviews and HAZID
- Participates in risk assessments,
- Liaise with certification companies/ entities to ensure certification of new installation and re-certification of existing installations
- Prepare/ Review specification of marine operation: surveys, pipe-laying, riser hook-up, barge move-in, anchoring (etc...).
- Coordinates site surveys to obtain proper marine and soil data
- Assist development studies for development department (DPD); contribute to the preparation of Scope of Requirements
- Provides and ensure valid inputs to project engineering and other entities.
- Perform inspection of contractor barge and vessels, perform periodic visit of platforms offshore
- Assist audit and reviews performed by HQ (PTR, SPOT)
- Provide expertise and participates in root-cause analysis for incident investigation
- Maintains knowledge by keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies.
- Attend discipline seminar, conference and workshops
- Permanently based at DHG offices
- Periodic visit to engineering CONTRACTOR offices, CONTRACTOR engineering offices and offshore sites when required
- The location of the field activities are geographically widespread, 3 offshore treating centers, 17 satellite platforms offshore
- Conformity to external and internal rules and specification of the modifications made to the existing or/and new installations.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Qualification: MSc/BSc in Marine Structure engineering, or equivalent
- Experience: Minimum 5 years within the Petroleum industry
- Excellent knowledge of Total E&P referential
- Pro-active with good organisational skills, team spirit, strong communication skills (verbal & written) and service minded
- English language is mandatory, both spoken & written
