The Company:
Our client operates in four market sectors, offshore Oil & Gas, land Oil & Gas, defence and general engineering. With over 1500 employees worldwide they are a leading manufacturer of deep water production products and deep sea pipelines.
The Role:
We require x5 experienced Sub Arc welders for a 10 month (April 2015) fixed term contract in Aberdeen.
Must have extensive experience in sub arc welding, 121 sub arc codings an advantage but not essential.
12 hour shifts, 6 days per week (DAYS & NIGHTS AVAILABLE)
PAYE Rates;
Basic £16.04 (37 hours)
OT1 £24.06 (after 37 hours Mon - Fri & first 4 hours Sat)
OT2 £32.08 (after 4 hours Sat & all day Sun)
LTD/UMBRELLA rates;
Basic £20.91 (37 hours)
OT1 £27.38 (after 37 hours Mon - Fri & first 4 hours Sat)
OT2 £36.51 (after 4 hours Sat & all day Sun)
Bonus;
A retention bonus will be paid in March 2015 (TBC)
Accommodation;
Our client will pay for accommodation for first 12 weeks (relocation amount of £40.00 per night), after 12 weeks you will be expected to pay for your own accommodation
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experienced (2-3 years) SUB ARC Welder
Experience of working in the oil and gas industry
Ability to use Automatic/Semi-Automatic and Mechanized SAW Guns
Ability to read and follow written welding procedures
Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge/Experience of TIG Welding Is desirable but not essential
Experience of working in a pipe yard environment would be an advantage
Coded in Sub Arc Welding (121)
