The Company:
Our client is a major global Oil and Gas EPC management company that can cover small Brownfield projects to major Greenfield projects.
They are a growth company who can serve as a Sole Supplier, Joint Venture or Subcontractor. With a proven track record of delivering large scale complex projects they are a progressive and attractive company.

The Role:
We are currently sourcing a Sub Contracts Administrator / Engineer to join our clients North West Office on a Contract basis.

As part of a long term alliance with a major Oil & Gas client based in Kuwait our client is undertaking FEED and detail design to support major revamp and modification projects modernizing the client’s production facilities at Wafra. Typical projects include gas processing plant, water injection and water treatment facilities, steam injection pilot plant and automation upgrades. Our client is required to place a number of subcontracts for major surveys and design services as part of our FEED.
Additionally our clients UK Projects require a number of Site installation subcontracts to be placed as part of the scope.

The candidate will be a Sub Contract Administrator with a proven track record in onshore oil and gas, refinery or petrochem projects and will be able to demonstrate a minimum of substantial relevant experience. Good communication and presentation skills are essential.

Minimum Academic Qualification: Degree level

Core Responsibilities:
Assist with the coordination of project contracting activities.
Assist with the development of contracting strategies, bid evaluation and analysis
Coordinates closely with Project Controls and Project manager.
Position will carry out the day to day administration of contracts ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions and procedures.
Reviews and monitors instructions to Sub Contractors to ensure compliance with procedures and Contract Terms and Conditions.
Coordinates preparation and issue of work authorisations and Change Orders as required for approval and issue for implementation.
Participates in evaluations, negotiations and settlement of Claims as required.
Prepares and certifies Sub contract final accounts, obtains Contractor release Certificates and prepare Close –out documents as required.
Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Project. Understand and follow OH&S procedures.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum Academic Qualification: Degree level
Proven track record in Sub Contract Administration. Ideally extensive sub contract experience.
Excellent technical communication and coordination skills.
Duration 6 - 12 months maybe extended

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
General attributes required of all employees include: Zero Harm, Action Orientation, Building Effective Business Relationships, Commitment, Customer Focus, Dealing with Change, Drive for Results, Integrity and Trust, and Basic Leadership Skills.
