The Role:
Overview:
- In response to their commitment to current projects, as well as the recent awarding of new projects, our client requires a Sub Contracts Manager to join their team in Brisbane
- They are currently building teams for Greenfield and Brownfield Minerals and Metals and Oil and Gas projects. These projects include: WICT, Alpha, and QCLNG

Responsibilities:
• Participate in establishing execution plans for individual projects
• Responsible for preparation, and managing the review process to establish individual Contract Plans
• Responsible for preparation, and managing the review process to compile ITTs and Evaluation Procedures necessary to implement project execution strategies and Contract Plans.
• Co-ordinate the bidding, evaluation and award process in accordance with agreed plans and company procedures.
• Responsible for post award contracts administration and co-ordinating with project services to ensure that supporting Company approvals are obtained.
• Implement a thorough and systematic approach in managing the contractual matters between company and contractor and prepare commercial and contractual correspondence during the implementation of the contracts.
• Ensure tracking systems are established and maintained for all contractual correspondence.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Right to work in Australia without sponsorship imperative
- The successful candidates will possess substantial technical and practical experience in the relevant discipline in the Resources and Energy (M&M and O&G) industry, including experience in multi-disciplinary EPCM projects and teams.
To succeed in this role, you will also:
• Be client focused, proactive, team orientated and schedule driven
• Possess sound negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
• Have well developed MS Office skills
• Demonstrable commitment to HSE management in a project environment
• Posses high level organisational and planning skills
• Possess a high level of written and verbal communications skills
• Possess a high level of customer focus
