The Company:
Progressive forward thinking company, working on various nuclear contracts, winning new design work packages all the time. Our clients deliverables include full 2D and 3D design, stress analysis and FEA, together with all relevant documentation throughout the project stages.

The Role:
Our client is looking for an experienced Project Engineer for work in spent fuel management based on site at Sellafield with the occasional trip to Risley envisaged.

The Sub Project Manager/Project Engineer delivers an assigned part of the overall project work scope within the agreed baseline and project execution strategy using a cross-functional project team to deliver the sub project safely in line with company policy.

Deliverables;

Completion of specified work packages to internal/external customers to appropriate standards of safety, cost, quality and time.

Understands project financial control reporting in terms of EAC\SPI\CPI.

Sets objectives and standards for the team which reflect good practice.

Complies with all legislative, regulatory and company policy standards and procedures e.g.safety, quality, risk, security etc. applicable to the role.

Ensures that all project schedules within his\her portfolio are correct and underpinned.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Engineering / Scientific degree min OR a non-engineering / scientific degree or lower than degree qualification supported by an APM qualification (APMP and/or RPP) or experience
Proven performance delivering a diverse range of projects at a complex environment at all project stages.
Proven capability of developing an execution plan of a level 2 complexity project.
Proven capability of participating in formal communications with customers, stakeholders, suppliers and senior management
Proven delivery performance of tasks and projects at projects.
Excellent stakeholder communications.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge of Sellafield Processes.
Plant engineering background.
Experience of working in a highly regulated industry
Proven team management skills.
Understanding of project delivery (Project lifecycle and Design process).
Understanding of Microsoft Project.
