The Company:
Our Client is a global operator in the oil and gas sector.

The Role:
• As part of the Project Team, the T & I Assurance Lead will provide leadership on HSSE issues and in particular set by example the framework and behaviours necessary to deliver the project’s commitment to no accidents, no harm to people and no damage to the environment.
• Engage and work effectively with the Contractors engaged by the client to design, procure materials & fabricate the project subsea, T&I and MOL pumps PAU.
• Develop, implement and manage the key quality and integrity processes required to deliver the in accordance with the IMS and MPcp.
• Participate in the effective implementation of the project verification process required to meet the Safety Case Requirements and applicable EU Directives as applicable to the subsea, T&I and MOL pumps PAU.
• Ensure the effective implementation of the project Integrity Management Plan for the subsea, T&I and MOL pumps PAU.
• Act as the Site Quality and/or HSSE Representative for the fabrication of the subsea works and the MOL pumps PAU.
• Provide functional lead for quality and integrity processes for the subsea, T&I and MOL pumps PAU.
• Assist in the development and implementation of the risk-based project assurance and audit plan for the subsea, T&I and MOL pumps PAU.
• Lead audits and reviews of suppliers, contractors and the client’s processes associated with the subsea, T&I and MOL pumps PAU.
• Work with the other members of the Project Team to ensure effective interfacing between the subsea, T&I and MOL pumps PAU and other facets of the development.
• Support and assure implementation of management of change including deviations, concessions and non-conformance handling processes.
• Assist subsea, T&I and MOL pumps PAU contractors in the completion and close out of their contracted workscope, including ensuring the provision of acceptable final user documentation and data.
• Ensure that lessons learnt and best practices from past and existing projects and operations are integrated into the subsea, T&I and MOL pumps PAU.
• Assist the Quality & Integrity Manager in other assurance activities associated with project as directed.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Chartered Engineer - preferred but not essential.
• A recognised further education engineering qualification is required e.g. HNC, HND or Degree.
• A deep knowledge of project quality requirements for major North Sea developments and a track record of delivering such projects.
• Experience of working for an engineering contractor on major North Sea offshore oil and gas projects.
• Proven experience working in senior quality management roles on offshore oil and gas projects is required some of which should have been site based.
• Experience of working as a Site Quality Control Lead responsible for the management/conduct of multi-discipline inspection of construction work.
• Accredited lead auditor or equivalent is desirable, auditor training and audit experience is required.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 & familiarity of ISO 29001.
• Experience of supplier inspection & certification as practiced in the N. Sea offshore industry is essential.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Working knowledge of:-
• Industry standard manufacturing/fabrication codes/standards e.g. PD 8010, ASME 31.3, IEC Standards, EEMUA 158, PCN etc.
• the welding & NDE techniques applicable to the work and the ability to interpret the associated reports.
• Surveying/dimensional control techniques.
• Painting quality controls.
• Electrical & Instrumentation quality controls.
• The certification & inspection documents required to demonstrate compliance with the specified requirements.
• Working knowledge of applicable European Directives especially PED and ATEX.
• Knowledge of Integrity Management Standard and Major Projects Common Process would be advantageous.
• Good communicator, able to work effectively within an integrated team of client and contractor personnel.
• Ability to work proactively with minimum day to day supervision.
