The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
Position Primary Objective
• Part of the Subsea Commissioning team responsible for the development and execution of of the Subsea commissioning activities in readiness for start-up in particular the URF contract deliverables which includes umbilicals, flowlines, risers, riser bases, flying leads & installation of all subsea infrastructure (less XT)


Primary Responsibilities

Occupational Health and Safety
• Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the Company‘s policies and procedures, ensuring the welfare of personnel and the protection of assets and the environment at all times
• Ensure all aspects of the Subsea system commissioning is in compliance with Australian Safety Case requirements.

Environment
• Ensure the system testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities minimizes the impact on the environment in line with project requirements.

Technical
• Ensure the implementation of the OPERCOM process within the subsea packages through all stages of testing and commissioning.
• Work with COMPANY contractors to support the definition and implementation of commissioning requirements within the package testing and delivery program.
• Implementation and administration of the ICAPS completion software tool with the Umbilical’s, Risers & Flowlines (URF) package contractor.
• Support the development of the documentation and certification requirements throughout the subsea pre-commissioning and commissioning activities to support the OPERCOM methodology.
• Support in the execution of offshore commissioning activities.
• Witnessing and participation in key FAT’s, EFAT’s and SIT’s
• Coordination and planning of subsea commissioning activities including identification of resource loading for both COMPANY and contractors.
• Coordination and resolution of subsea commissioning interfaces with project packages.
• Support in the development of COMPANY commissioning procedures.
• Management of “as-commissioned” subsea status and hand over to start-up team.
• Participate in HAZID/ENVID, HAZOPS’s, Design Reviews, Constructability Reviews, Project Reviews, Workshops and the like.
• Preparation of technical reports and presentations as required.
• Review and comment of Contractor / Supplier documentation in a timely manner.

Project Management
• Ensure project deliverables and activities are achieved in accordance with the project milestone dates, budget, quality and technical requirements and ensure smooth transition and continuity between the different phases of the project.
• Report progress of the work in a timely manner.

Risk Management
• Continuous identification and monitoring of risks associated with the Subsea Commissioning scope and associated interfaces.
• Ensure project deliverables and activities associated with the Subsea Commissioning design are achieved in accordance with project milestone dates, budget and technical requirements of BOD.
• Assist in identifying new project risks and implement agreed mitigation measures as required.
• Work in close relation with Company package teams and package contractors in order to minimize risks to the project.

Contractor Management
• Support URF package in providing guidance, priorities and input into Contractor strategies / procedures and specifications for Subsea Commissioning
• Support URF package in the review and commenting of contractor supplied technical documentation in a timely manner.
• Liaise with contractor personnel in conjunction with Company URF package team to align on project drivers, priorities of work and project milestone dates.

Interface
• Liaise with counterparts within other packages and core technical teams.
• Ensure interface requirements for the Subsea Commissioning are clearly defined and progressed in a timely manner.
• Ensure commissioning requirements are incorporated in the design and validation of the deliverables.

Team Work
• Work collaboratively within Company organization to achieve alignment on strategies and documentation required to achieve objectives
• Work collaboratively with Company Offshore Project Contractors to achieve alignment on strategies and documentation required to achieve objectives

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• 5 years in discipline in a subsea / underwater environment
• Recent & relevant experience delivering/commissioning subsea systems
• Excellent communication / written skills and ability to work with different disciplines and cultures.
• Ability to work with different disciplines and cultures.
• Emphasis on practical design, building, installing, setting to work and operating a subsea system.
• Knowledge of OPERCOM and ICAPS Commissioning management system preferable.
