The Company:
Our client is a global operator in the Oil and Gas sector.

The Role:
Key Accountabilities: During the Execute stage:

• Develop and execute a Completions & Commissioning Execution plan for the offshore program
• Develop, manage and execute the mechanical and commissioning completions & handover management process for the Offshore Program using Guidance on Certification (GoC)
• Oversee the development of the limits of system handover for the offshore program scope
• Define and support the completions / commissioning requirements and activities for the Subsea Production System delivery team
• Define and support the completions / commissioning requirements for SURF installation activities including liaising with EPMS contractor and selected Installation Contractor(s)
• Define and support the completions / commissioning requirements & activities for the Field Suspension scope
• Review and detail the field suspension and re-commissioning philosophy developed by the EPMS contractor
• Define the de-commissioning requirements for the FPSO vessel re-assignment.
• Review, develop and coordinate delivery of the offshore program completions & commissioning procedures
• Develop, manage and execute the offshore SURF commissioning activities post installation of the project's new FPSO
• Coordinate with Delivery, QA/QC and Installation teams to ensure alignment and compliance with the completions & handover process
• Liaise closely with the former FPSO's existing asset team Subsurface, Drilling and Operations teams
• Help prepare the operations team for handover, start-up, and ramp-up to delivery of first 2 year production commitment
• Influence the design with a view to maximising completions & commissioning efficiency.
• Review the design to ensure they support the commissioning & start-up strategy. Provide input and guidance to the project team as required
• Assist with the planning and optimisation of the installation and commissioning sequence for the Offshore program scope
• Search for any lessons that can be learned from other similar projects or from the knowledge management forum.
•Support the project go/no-go and PHSSER process.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Broad knowledge of completions, commissioning and handover management processes
• Engineering Degree
• Subsea Experience
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills required to influence
• Ability to work away from home assignment.
• Good awareness of safety management for subsea & offshore operations and have demonstrated personal commitment to Safety.
• Proven track record of team working with demonstrated networking and influencing skills.
• Must be a good communicator
• Successful candidates will have a strong track record of delivering on performance targets and meeting deadlines.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Guidance on Certification (GoC) experience
• FPSO experience
• Experience with decommissioning
• Experience with Plant Turnarounds
• Operational Asset experience

Competencies:
• Ability to work across several different discipline teams
• Ability to communicate issues effectively. Attention to detail.
• Has good facilitation and excellent communication skills.
• Able to confidently challenge ideas/expectations at different levels of the project.
• Good communications skills and ability to develop strategies, execution plans and procedures from first principles.
• Clear knowledge and track record of HSE participation.
• A teamwork approach with a clear track record of responsibility for delivery of complex problems in a team context.
• Basic Offshore Induction and Safety Emergency Testing (BOISET) and Health certification for offshore working will be required for offshore mobilisation.
• Previous experience of working offshore
