The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
The subsea Connectors and ROV Intervention Package Engineer is responsible for delivery of the subsea ROV installable connectors, spool engineering, associated ROV tooling, caps, spares, documentation and scope.

This position will have direct engineering reports located at the two primary locations for connector manufacturing (Norway and Singapore).

Principle responsibilities will include:-
• Delivery of design specifications, fabrication and testing specifications, installation specifications, input to SIT plans, and related documentation associated with the subsea connection systems, spool and tie-in systems, tooling and ancillary devices including spares.
• Engineering direction of key design issues, including spool system design at each drill centre and loads imparted to the subsea structures.
• Liaison with the SIC and IIC teams to ensure that SEV diverless connection system requirements are robust and meet needs of each external contractual applications. Additionally, interfacing with the QA/QC team to ensure alignment with Engineering Standards is maintained.
• Provision of support and direction with respect to technical site support personnel including design and analysis of tie-in spool systems, ensuring full collaboration with the SSFP Construction team to ensure tie-in spool and structure sizes, weights and tolerances are effectively addressed

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree Qualified (Engineering/Marine/Mechanical), but relevant experience may be acceptable.
Understanding of DNV & ASME codes for both design and installation
Design of Subsea tie-in systems and spool pieces, understanding of structure foundation seabed interaction.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills, ability to manage engineering consultants to defined schedules and work collaboratively.
