The Company:
Our oil and gas client is currently looking for a Subsea Contracts & Procurement Specialist to work in Mozambique on an LNG Project.

The Role:
Report to: Contracts & Procurement Manager

 Primarily responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects relevant to the prequalification, preparation, issue, receipt, opening and assessment of tenders and award of purchase orders/contracts for portfolio of subsea packages.
 Support management of subsea FEED and engineering design contracts.

C&P Activities
 Coordinate and implement of any aspects of FEED Contractors work relevant to the prequalification, preparation, issue, receipt, opening and assessment of tenders and award of purchase orders for long lead/critical items materials for subsea scope (e.g. line pipe, subsea umbilical, subsea valves).
 Support the contract management of the subsea and pipeline FEED Contractors deliverables (3 to 4 contracts), including any procurement deliverables (e.g. line pipe).
 Oversee development of Approved Vendor list for subsea scope
 Creation and management of Purchase Orders for subsea related requirements (as required)
 Prepare and assist in required approval documentation (in accordance with the JOA Procedures) for all procurement activities
 Undertake commercial and contractual correspondence with suppliers and contractors (as required)
 Provide accurate and timely reports on subsea procurement portfolio progress.
 Ensure local content objectives are being considered and implemented in all procurement activities
 Ensure procurement and contract expenditure is monitored and within approved values amounts
 Support other Project contracting or procurement activities as required (Onshore or other areas)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
 Tertiary qualifications in business (preferable) or equivalent professional or 10 plus years of relevant experience
 Minimum of 10 years Oil & Gas Project procurement experience, particularly in Operator team.
 Major subsea equipment procurement experience, preferably in the FEED part of a large project as client
 Extensive knowledge of industry manufacturers & suppliers
 In depth knowledge of ITT processes
 Good communication skills, both oral and written
 Organization skills
 Strong team working skills
 Enthusiastic & ability to multi-task
 Experience procurement systems and processes coupled with a superior working knowledge of engineering, construction and service delivery practices.
 Understanding of local content requirements
 Ability to work under pressure
