The Company:
An oil and gas major company is working on a multi-billion dollar deepwater project in Indonesia.

The Role:
Purpose :

- To support the COMPANYDevelopment Team during Project Execution Phase in the engineering, design, manufacturing and testing (performed by Contractor) of subsea production and workover instrumentation and control systems (both subsea and topsides on FPU) assuring that the design meets Project requirements, applicable standards and engineering best practices.
- To assist the COMPANY Development Team during the Tender phase for the technical clarifications and evaluation with Bidders.
- To review the specification, design and supply (performed by Contractor) of production and workover subsea instrumentation and control systems (including the SCM's), ensuring that Project objectives, industry standards and best practices for safety, reliability and cost are met;
- To learn and became confident with all COMPANY standards and Project specification in order to verify Contractor compliance;
- To ensure the production and workover subsea instrumentation and control systems performance, installability and operability;
- To ensure that the production and workover subsea instrumentation and control systems technical interfaces with other systems or activities of the Project are considered by the Contractor at all times;
- Perform Site inspection and interfacing with the Contractor;
- To ensure delivery of the production and workover subsea instrumentation and control systems (including the SCM's) in line with the Project objectives;
- To assist the preparation of user manual and installation procedure by Contractor and assist installation campaign.
- To interface with COMPANY Project Interface Engineer to manage and expedite all the SPS Contractor interfaces with other Project Contractors;
- Follow-on of the SPS contractor engineering including the management of comment sheets of the discipline;
- Follow-on the construction activities of the discipline supporting the Site Representative or the Inspector;
- Attendance during construction and installation activities at site;
- Assure compliance of SPS Contractor with job standards and specifications for the discipline;
- Technical follow-on/troubleshooting during construction, installation, commissioning and start-up;
- On site assistance (drilling rig, construction vessel, FPU) to Company, with the follow up of the Vendor personnel;
- Support the SPS Work Package Leader in the engineering review and approval, expediting and inspection at Vendor site during the construction and offshore installation assistance.

Responsibility :

- Selection of the best technical/economical solutions and products for production and workover subsea instrumentation and control systems, ensuring overall design integrity and compliance with international standards, company guidelines and engineering best practices and system performance.
- Site inspection and Interfacing with the Contractor on Technical and Delivery issues;
- Ensuring Delivery of the production and workover subsea instrumentation and control systems in line with the Project objectives, technical interfaces and requirements;
- Review of Contractor's production and workover subsea instrumentation and control systems design and preparation of comment sheets;
- Expediting of technical interfaces;
- Daily site inspection and interfacing with contractor;
- Daily reporting to SPS Work Package Leader;
- Follow-up the detail engineering performed by the SPS Contractor relevant to subsea production and workover subsea instrumentation and control systems;
- Reviewing and commenting technical documentation produced by the Contractors (e.g. technical reports, specifications, procedures, drawings, etc.) ensuring the implementation of the established procedures, applicable codes, COMPANY standards and specification, Contract, International Standards and Engineering best practices;
- Resolving ongoing technical issues concerning all aspects of subsea control equipment;
- Monitoring and reporting technical progress to the SPS Work Package Manager;
- Ensure that all internal and external Interfaces (especially with FPU) are correctly managed by Contractor;
- Witnessing of acceptance tests for all the Production control System Scope of Supply (FAT, EFAT, SIT);
- Support to offshore installation, commissioning and production start-up.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Engineering degree (Electronic engineering, prefrebly automation specialization)
- Experience in Project Engineering in a major oil and gas company for Subsea System
- Not less than 7 years of working experience in oil & gas industry in Subsea Projects.
- Not less than 5 years of experience of working with contractors and supervising the contractors.
- Not less than 3 years of instrumentation and automation experience (5 preferable)
- Experience in at least 2 similiar activities (subsea EPC Project follow-up)

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
The job holder must have proven :
- Good knowledge and understanding of the Subsea System for deep water development such as :
* IT Hardware Architecture (Generic)
* Specialist Knowledge : Engineering knowledge in the specialist activity
* Supports and technologies : Technical requirement and Standard
* Plant Design : Electric & Instrument, Telecom & Design
* Construction & Installation : Plant construction, production and workover Control system and umbilicals knowledge, inspection, control and testing techniques
- Good abilities to read, understand, intepret and write reports and documentation
- Good communication skills at all levels.
- Experience of working in multi-national environment
