The Company:
A major, international oil and gas company

The Role:
Please note that the initial contract will be to 30/09/2014 (in line with current frameworks) however intention is to extend to 31/12/2014.


•Support planning the commissioning activities for new equipment tying in to the existing facilities, including developing commissioning activity plan, work packs, test mark-ups, and updating commissioning procedures
•Monitor construction/completion activities and pre commissioning to ensure compliance with commissioning expectations.
•Ensure GOC requirements are met in commissioning and prepare documentation as required
•Provide technical support & troubleshooting for the offshore commissioning team as required to deliver the wells commissioning
•Create punch lists when required during commissioning, and ensure that commissioning punch items are resolved and closed out in a timely manner
•Deliver the required subsea control system modifications including scope definition, development of engineering documentation; manage execution, testing witnessing and acceptance.
•Manage the subsea vendors to deliver subsea control modifications and commissioning support
•Act as delegate to the subsea commissioning TL when required
•Support the subsea commissioning TL with any commissioning and subsea control issues as required

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical, Ocean Engineering, or other related discipline
Experience representing major operator
Experience with OneSubsea (Cameron) subsea control systems, and Yokogawa control systems
Experience with OPC interface between the subsea control system and the topside process control and safety systems
