The Company:
Our client is one of the largest independent oil and natural gas exploration and production companies in the world with projects and offices globally.

The Role:
Assist in design and operation of Subsea production system with emphasis on control system components located both Subsea and Topside
Subsea instrumentation design and topside interface related to control system hardware for MUX and control system applications engineering
Assist in generating subsea production system operating, commissioning, and maintenance procedures
Provide technical support for operation, maintenance, installation, and intervention of Subsea equipment
Review/comment on subsea production system documentation with emphasis on the control system
Attend subsea production system Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), as required, with emphasis on control system
Attend subsea production system integration testing, as required
Participating in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and resolution of issues
Contributing to progress reports for internal weekly and monthly reporting
Participation in emergency response team, as assigned
Travel to control system suppliers as necessary

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

Bachelors' Degree in Engineering
5 to 10 years of experience in Electrical and/or Mechanical engineering; however those with less experience may also be considered
Proficiency with Solidworks, Autocad or Inventor software

Knowledge and Experience:

Understanding of process control systems including hydraulics, electrics, etc. Understanding of standard project management principles
Understanding of design principles associated with an equipment control systemUnderstanding of engineering roles and responsibilitiesBasic knowledge of offshore oil and gas production facilities
Understanding of Offshore Oil & Gas industry standards for control systems equipment, such as ISO 13628-6, API 16D and 17F
Subsea facilities experience along with electrical and/or control system experience
Experience of hydraulic power units relating to subsea production equipment
Experience in design and operation of MCS, EPU and ICSS control equipment
Experience in subsea facilities interface areas (e.g. reservoir engineering, production engineering, drilling/completions, topsides) is a plus

Able to identify, review, understand and apply the appropriate laws, regulations, codes, standards and specifications
Adherence to strict health, safety, environment, quality and security standard
Use of standard software such as MS Office, MS Project is a plus
Shows initiative and can work independently without constant supervision
Above average analytical skills in order to secure relevant information/data and identify key issues and relationships to determine appropriate course of action to rectify deficiencies
Capable of learning, assimilating and applying new job related information in a timely manner
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Deliver work in a professional manner
Comfortable working offshore and at local and international vendor facilities

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
The preferred candidate will have strong background and experience in QA procedures.
