The Role:
Subsea Engineer

Job Description:
The position for a Subsea Engineer will be working within the Deepwater Facilities Engineering team.

• Minimum of 10-15 years relevant experience required
• Experience with installation and/or manufacture of components for deepwater offshore subsea production systems is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in project teams to deliver offshore production systems
• Work with engineering contractor to design subsea systems for deepwater oil and gas production
• Work with team to prepare specifications and inquiry packages for procurement, manufacture, and installation of subsea system equipment
• Support inspection team during manufacturing process
• Oversee Factory Acceptance Testing and System Integration Testing
• Work in a highly collaborative, team focused environment.
• Project manage the delivery of the subsea systems through provision of accurate cost and schedule estimates and tracking of these estimates through the delivery
• Ensure project specifications, designs, and reports are complete and compliant with regulations and SEMS requirements
• Design, fabricate and install subsea systems for deepwater developments
• Incorporate flow assurance, operability, reliability, material selection and ease of installation into designs
• Subsea system components in typical Anadarko projects include trees, control systems, umbilicals, subsea chemical distribution systems, flowlines, manifolds, PLET’s, and subsea multi-phase meters

• Engage appropriate stakeholders in project delivery including asset team, drilling and completions, production operations, regulatory agencies, and co-venturers
• Coordinate efforts internally and externally to improve equipment standards
• Develop processes, procedures, and training programs to achieve corporate goals
Bachelor of Science degree is required; Mechanical Engineering Degree preferred.
Grade and salary will be commensurate with relevant education and experience.
