The Company:
Our client, a major owner/operating company, seeks expertise for offshore mega-projects in Canada.

This opportunity is open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents only. First consideration will be given to residents of Newfoundland & Labrador.

The Role:
- The position supports/monitors the performance of the Long Term Service Agreement (LTSA) deliverables and works with the contractor, operations, development/production drilling groups
- Support management (storage/preservation/refurbishment/testing) of onshore subsea equipment including interface management between all responsible Owners i.e. operations, development/production drilling
- Regularly attend contractor coordination meetings and facilitate interaction, where applicable, across all project groups, contractor, and company
- Develop regional 'tool pool' sharing philosophy for multi-project portfolio as well as sparing programs and any necessary associated procurement activities

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience in the operating principles of subsea facilities associated with a major offshore project
- Strong subsea and drilling hardware background
- Minimum of 5 years related experience in the petro-chemical/oil and gas business with experience in fixed and floating production systems, offshore pipelines, and operations support
- Experience within an Owner's Project Management Team

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- Business management skills pertaining to project management, resource planning, budgeting and asset stewardship, and drilling/completions
- Planning, communication and continuous improvement skills required to deliver overall value to projects
