The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
This position is working on a multi-billion $ LNG project and will be located on the Subsea team within Upstream.

The Subsea Equipment Vendor (SEV) QA/QC Lead is responsible for: -
Leading the SEV QA/QC function by ensuring effective implementation of the Project Quality Management System by the SEV project team and SEV contractors.
Assuring that project goals are met in a manner that meets corporate, location and contractual requirements.
Provide direction to company site team QA and QC staff in order to ensure compliance with the Company technical requirements.
Quality oversight of the SEV contractor and subcontractors, including product verification and inspection of the SEV deliverables consistent with criticality assessments, and contractual and regulatory obligations.
Providing SEV quality support functions including quality planning, preventive action, non-conformance control, corrective action, audits, continuous improvement (including Lessons Learned), and SEV quality reporting & review.
Source the required Inspection and Quality personnel to meet SEV delivery requirements worldwide for the Subsea Tree Systems, Manifolds and Controls Structures, Control Systems, Umbilicals and Tie in Systems.
Develop the Construction Quality Management Plan
Perform Construction Readiness Review prior fabrication
Conduct scheduled assessments and audits of the SEV Contractors, their Sub-Contractors and major critical Suppliers.
Steward assessment and audit findings to resolution and closure, and provide feedback on quality related issues.
Ensure that Project contracts technical and quality requirements are met.
Actively promote quality awareness and commitment within the Project Team Members Ensure that concessions and deficiencies are properly documented and processed.
Assure Project Close Out and Final Documentation are achieved.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
Certified ISO Lead Auditor 9001:2008, AWS CWI, CSWIP, ASNT TC-II A
Related professional work experience in Subsea engineering, procurement, construction and/or project management including recent Quality experience on Major Capital Projects including subsea systems, design, procurement, fabrication, installation and turnover.
System Expertise Experience with the development, deployment, monitoring and improvement of a Quality Management System elements (Quality Assurance, Quality Control, inspection, specifications, processes, audits, assessment, supplier management, ISO, etc.).
Experience in managing third party agencies and/or contractors.
Successful Major Capital Projects experience associated with facilities, procurement, engineering, construction and/or operations.
Ability to develop and/or execute new processes.
Experience in working within multicultural and multidiscipline Quality & Inspection teams on large major capital pro
