The Role:

Role synopsis Well integrity is part of the Wells Function (which includes Drilling, Completions and Well Interventions). In the AGT Region, Well Integrity is part of the Well Intervention Team, and involves with the complete “Life Cycle” of a well from pre-construction thru post abandonment. The Well Integrity Engineer reports directly to the Engineering Team Leader for Well Integrity. The Well Integrity Engineer is a primary contact with Base Management to support safe and compliant operation of the AGT Region well stock in the Caspian Sea. The role includes frequent interactions with New Well Delivery, Wellwork, Resource Base Management, Offshore Production Ops, and many other teams to ensure conformance with requirements in the Well Integrity Management Strategy (WIMS) document. The Well Integrity Engineer also uses teamwork with hazard identification, risk assessment and repair.
Key accountabilities • Support well integrity policy documented in the Well Integrity Management Strategy (WIMS) for AGT Region (including input for regular updates). • Lead engineering teamwork with Base Management and Offshore Platform Operation Teams for documentation required to deviate away from WIMS requirements. • Support policy for Our Client’s Zonal Isolation Engineering Technical Practice (GP 10-60), and associated Zonal Isolation Verification Procedure. • Support policy for Our Client’s Well Barrier Engineering Technical Practice (GP 10-65), and its application in AGT Region. • Apply risk evaluation and risk assessment tools to appropriately document and classify well integrity issues. • Apply Our Client Well Activity Workflow readiness stage gates to progress a well integrity repair consistently with Select, Design, Plan, Execute & Evaluate. • Prepare detailed written engineering programs for various well integrity job types (such as well surveillance diagnostics, and well repair). • Make certain well integrity repair recommendations conform to Our Client engineering standard, adequately risk assessed, and comply with local law. • During execute stage provide on-site engineering, technical guidance and operations support for the Offshore Teams (especially the Completion & Intervention Supervisors, and Platform Production Operations). • Conduct well integrity studies to better understand existing wellstock (for long-term safe, compliant, and reliable operations).

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Essential Education • Engineering Degree (Bachelor of Science, or greater)
Essential experience and job requirements • Azerbaijan Citizenship • 3-years (or more) of applicable Oil & Gas Industry experience

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Desirable criteria & qualifications • Practical experience with trouble-shooting oil & gas wellstock • Working knowledge about offshore well ops, platform ops, rig ops • Well Control certification (Well Intervention or Drilling) • Relevant experience with Service Providers (for well integrity) • Well-Site Leader experience
