The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in FEED (Front End Engineering Design) Stage.

The Role:
As a Subsea Inspection Engineer, you will develop subsea inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) strategies for subsea systems used by the future Operations Division. In addition you will indentify deliverables required to assure these activities and provide guidance to the Operations and Project team on subsea inspection issues.

Prior to startup you will use your experience to provide technical and operational input during Detailed Design, Construction and Commissioning. In addition, you will be part of the development of key operations systems and processes. This may require you to be deployed to international design offices and construction yards or to assist operations readiness activities within the Perth office. When the project becomes Operational, attractive rosters and residential options will be available.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the company's policies and procedures
• Liaise with Project Engineers, EPC Contractors and vendors as appropriate to develop subsea IMR philosophies, strategies and plans for operations phase of project, including ROV routes, CP points, sparing strategy, repair plans, etc.
• Assist the Subsea Operations Engineer in developing the subsea integrity strategy and processes
• Provide technical support and monitoring during manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, testing and installation of subsea equipment to ensure delivery in-line with Operations goals and objectives
• Interface with Subsea Controls, Pipelines, and Flow Assurance disciplines, as-well as drilling operations
• Highlight risk associated with the critical interfaces and equipment and develop mitigation plans accordingly

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Significant experience in subsea operations such as installation, inspection, maintenance and repair of subsea systems
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Familiar with all the mechanical interfaces associated with subsea risers, manifolds, structures and general equipment installation and operations
• Experience associated with offshore installation methods, ROV and diver operations for inspection, maintenance and repair of subsea equipment
• Proficient in using Microsoft Suite and SAP software
