The Company:
Our Client has operations in the worlds most important oil and gas regions and are leaders in working in extremely difficult environments. They have interests in many offshore producing fields in the UK, including five operated fields and five partner-operated fields. The company also has interests in Denmark, the Faroe Islands, the Netherlands and Norway and extensive interests in Kazakhstan, Thailand, Indonesia and the US Gulf of Mexico.

The Role:
The Subsea Lead will have the following responsibilities:
- Lead the subsea engineering team
- Lead the pre-FEED subsea enginering, cost and schedule development
- Lead Contractor's subsea engineering and execution efforts for pre-FEED development.
- Direct Greenfield and Brownfield workscopes including life of field extension activities
- Support planning, procurement and contract strategy development for the subsea facilities through all engineering and construction phases.
- Ensure that the selected subsea concept is safe, operable, maintainable, cost-effective, constructible, reliable and meets the design intent of the project.
- Provide leadership on design, constructability, operability and reliability, and liaise closely with multifunctional asset team.
- Exhibit leadership of Chevron Way Behaviors, implement CSOC principles, and oversee and implement CPDEP processes
- Integrate CVX engineering standards
- Coach less experienced subsea engineers
- Work as part of a team & interact effectively with Base Business and other project personnel located in London and Aberdeen

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent discipline
a) Proven experience in an the oil and gas industry, working in a similar field
b) Major Capital Project expertise.
c) Ability to work well as part of a team

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge of subsea design standards
